Sharon Yvonne Stone was born on March 10 of 1958 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to accountant Dorothy Lawson and tool and die maker also a former worker at a factory Joseph William Stone II. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her brothers and sisters. Stone was thought to be academically gifted when she started in the second grade at age five. She graduated from Saegertown High School located in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, in 1975. She was also a contestant for Saegertown's Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, winning Miss Crawford County. Stone and her aunt relocated out of New Jersey to New Jersey in order to pursue a career as a model in 1977. They signed up for The Ford Modeling Agency after a couple of months. In Europe Stone was able to spend a whole year living in Milano as well as Paris. Stone was disillusioned with the world of model within Europe began acting while living in Europe. The film of Woody Allen, "Stardust Memories", received mixed reviews in her 20s.
