In her role as assistant to SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long, the widow of WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero first joined WWE in 2007. After a short absence from WWE in 2009, Vickie was back as the official Consultant to SmackDown before devoting her services to Dolph Ziggler who briefly held the World Heavyweight Title under her guidance. Guerrero led Raw on Mondays as its Managing Supervisor. Vickie's behavior led to her separate from Ziggler. The McMahon Family was furious at her and her conflicting opinions resulted in an assessment of Vickie in public. The WWE Universe also evaluated Guerrero's work, in addition to Mr. McMahon. After an WWE App survey, 75 percent of the WWE Universe believed Guerrero didn't accomplish her job well. The result was Guerrero being fired. Following a complete meltdown and a failure to gathering the WWE Universe behind her Vickie was then pleasantly rehired to be general manager of SmackDown by Mr. McMahon just weeks after her dismissal on Raw. Vickie was unable to do the Authority's bidding for the following few weeks though she did get herself back in hot water once again. Vickie Guerrero put Roman Reigns, who was sprayed with a coffee tainted through Stephanie McMahon (plus a few extra drops), into a WWE World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match Qualifying Battle Royal despite their order. Vickie was forced within a week of her firing, when she was in danger to go up against Stephanie McMahon. The bizarre fight was held in a tub filled with foul smelling brown liquid. Stephanie McMahon immediately fired Vickie as the SmackDown GM following the incident. Stephanie defeated her opponent and threw Vickie into the mud. Vickie went out with a bang by throwing an innocent Stephanie directly into the muddy messy mess!
